We run a photographic competition each year, whereby Members can submit up to 3 photos taken by them during the year of a designated subject matter.
Submitted photos in postcard print form (6″ x 4″) are judged at the December Lunch meeting of the Club by the attending members and their partners, with the results announced at the Club AGM meeting in February. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third place, together with a special prize for whichever judge(s) correctly places (or gets nearest to) the resulting winning order.

If you like to participate, then please submit your 3 photographs to Barry ahead of the date of the October Lunch Club. The photographs must each be given a title and be labelled with your name and may be submitted to Barry either as postcard prints or digital images cropped to a 6 x 4 format:
- As an attachment to an email sent to photo@316club.org.uk, or
- By hand at any of the Lunch Club meetings, if in print form, or;
- By post to 10 Frobisher Drive, Stevenage, SG2 0HH, if in print form.
2024 Winners
The 2024 competition had 48 photographs from 20 entrants and the subject matter was ANIMALS. There were 41 judges and the prize for the judge who correctly placed the winning entries went to Graham Bicknell.
